Dear Families!
This is the image for the news article titled Dear Families!

They say that time flies when you are having fun.  It must be true, for I cannot imagine that it is April already!

April is shaping up to be a busy month at Mansion Avenue School.  We hope you are able to keep up as we pack in so many things!

Please remember- we are on spring break from the half day dismissal on March 29th and return on Monday, April 9th.

Thanks to our PTA, the ever-popular talent show will take place on Friday, April 13th.  This event will be held in the high school auditorium from 7:00 pm until it’s over.  This is a fundraising event hosted by the grade 5 parents in preparation for 6th grade activities next year.  We hope to see you there!

Speaking of popular events, the PTA sponsored Science Fair will take place on Friday, April 20th.  This event will be held in the high school’s main gym from 6:00-8:00 p.m.  All are invited to come and see the original projects our students have created in the name of science.

Congratulations to our fifth grade class for completing the DARE program.  We are grateful for the time our friends at the Audubon Police Department spent in teaching our fifth graders the importance of making good and safe decisions.  We will celebrate this accomplishment at DARE graduation on Tuesday evening, April 10th at 7:00 p.m. in the AHS auditorium.  Nice work, everyone.

Please remember that we have a half day dismissal scheduled for the whole district on April 26th.  This is a teacher in-service in the afternoon.

Please mark your calendars for Children’s Night scheduled for May 30th at 7:00 p.m.  You will be in for a treat as you browse the artwork and other projects your children have created throughout the year.

I hope you have a great month!
